Ruling 2707

If the trustee of an endowment acts disloyally – for example, he does not spend the income from it in the way that was specified – then a fully qualified jurist can appoint a trustworthy individual (amīn) to join up with him in order to prevent him from acting disloyally. And if this is not possible, a fully qualified jurist can depose him and appoint a trustworthy person as trustee in his place.
