Ruling 1285

With regard to someone who travels in compliance with the orders of an oppressor, if he is not compelled to do so and his journey is to help the oppressor in his oppression, he must perform tamām prayers. However, if he is compelled, or, for example, he travels with the oppressor to save an oppressed person, his prayers must be performed in qaṣr form.
