Ruling 1104

It is recommended that in qunūt one places his hands in front of his face with his palms facing the sky and with both hands kept next to each other; and apart from his thumb, he should close his other fingers together and look at the palms of his hands. In fact, based on obligatory precaution, qunūt is incorrect without raising the hands unless it is necessary for one not to [raise his hands].
