Ruling 1050

If a person performs sajdah in an unusual manner – for example, he places his chest and stomach on the ground, or he stretches his legs a little – in the event that it can be said that he has performed sajdah, his prayer is valid. However, if it is said that he lay down and it cannot be called a sajdah, his prayer is invalid.
