Ritual 314

If a pilgrim inadvertently makes an addition to his tawaf, and if he remembers after reaching the Iraqi corner, he must perform the addition as a complete tawaf, with the Niyyah of al qurbal mutlaqah (attaining nearness of Allah in a general sense, i.e. without specifying it to be obligatory or recommended). He must, then, do four raka’as of prayer; it is preferable to separate them by performing two for the obligatory tawaf before sa’y, and the other two for the recommended tawaf after sa’y.

As a matter of precaution, the same rule applies, if the pilgrim remembers before reaching the Iraqi corner.
