Sins That Prevent Acceptance of Deeds

Q:

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH(SWT) THE MOST KIND THE MOST MERCIFUL

Assalamualaykum My question is that if a person has bad thoughts about someone like abuse him in the mind or say some thing bad about them in your mind is that a sin and must we also ask them for forgiveness.

I have also read that there are some sins that if one commits ALLAH(SWT) does not accept that persons deeds unless the deed is rectified, pls could you guide me by telling me those sins like there is one where if one usurps someones things then deeds are not accepted until the thing is returned and (i think forgiveness is sought from ALLAH(SWT) and the person whose thing was usurped).

Thank you for the wonderful questions

1. Sins are of 2 types:

1. Between  you and Allah ( yourself) such as drinking unlawful substance, ignoring the calling for prayers intentionally etc
2. Between you and others

The one between you and Allah is to ask for forgiveness directly from Allah. And the one between you and others such as the example you cited in your question will be to talk to them and ask them to forgive you.

Yes some sins makes it difficult for our good deeds to ascend to the heaven. Example; usurping people’s belonging, severing family relations, drinking alcohol, idolatory, fornication, injustice within marriage and so on
