Ask an Alim

Touching impurity and its transfer to other things that are in contact.

Q:

I wanted to ask about touching impurity. As you know that alot of people have a habit of mastrubation. Unfortunately I am also suffering from it. I once masturbated. Then performed ghusl. I made sure that no impurity was on my hair. I did not see impurity at that time. But the next day after taking a shower I was drying myself and saw that the impurity due to the previous masturbation was attached to a few hairs. So the question which I wanted to know was whether the towel gets impure while drying. Because I hung the towel on the doorknob after drying the previous day. And also is the doorknob impure too?
I washed the doorknob later but I forgot about the wall of the room which comes in contact with the door. Should I have washed it too?
If anyone touches the doorknob with wet hands is wall impurity transfered?

A:

Al-Salam Alaykum

If you are 100% sure that the impurity remained from the previous time and it touches the towel.  However, I am pretty sure that the impurity did not remain but it is the remains of other fluids that come after the semen.
