How to do Taharat of Blood on scalp

Q:

Salaam Alaikum.

I have acne on my scalp, which causes it to bleed sometimes. If I go into the shower and put water over the whole area, is it now Tahir? I don’t know how to make sure the blood is removed as it is on my scalp. I don’t know the exact spot of the bleeding, but I know it is somewhere on my scalp. After washing the area with water once, can I put soap as normal? Would my hands become najis by touching the area?

A:

In the Name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful.
Wa-Alaykum Assalam Wa Rahmtu-Allah,

Yes it is.

I don’t know how to make sure the blood is removed as it is on my scalp.

– You would wash the head with water…. that is all…. If the water is from a shower head running water is enough to purify the area after the blood has been washed away in the first few seconds.

I don’t know the exact spot of the bleeding, but I know it is somewhere on my scalp. ?
You do not need to know where is exactly if you are going to use the shower.

After washing the area with water once, can I put soap as normal? Yes.

Would my hands become najis by touching the area? In the shower
– no as the water is running. But outside the shower if you touch the area and there is blood then yes.
