Shaving Beard for FFP3 Mask for dental students

Q:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, dentists and dental students working within the NHS are required to undergo a wear new FFP3 masks to protect themselves from acquiring the disease.
In order to practice, they must pass a fit-test and are given certification if successful.
1 major condition to pass the fit-test is that the face MUST be clean shaven, no hair or stubble is acceptable as it prevents a perfect seal from being formed.
In this situation, is it permissible to be clean-shaven?

Shaving the beard is not permissible unless there is undue unless if he is fears harm to his life by not shaving or if growing the beard would put him in significant difficulty. See Shaving
