Sexual intercourse

Q:

Salam, I m engaged ( Nikah), and my husband asked me, for behind sex. Does Islam allow it? Yes or no.

A:

Waalaykum al-Salam
Thank you for your question.

Regarding your question, there are two answers given by the office of His eminence Ayatullah Sistani:

1- If it is with the consent of the wife herself, that is, if she doesn’t mind, then it is ok but it is Makrooh to perform such an act. (The kirahat is intense)

2- If it is without the consent of the woman herself, then it is ‘ihtiyate wajib’ to refrain from it.

The above can also be referred to from the book titlled ‘minhaju saliheen’. Mas’ala no. 228

It is also important to know that:

Ruling 348. If a person has sexual intercourse with a woman and penetration occurs up to or more than the circumcised part of the penis – irrespective of whether the penetration was in the vagina or in the anus, and whether the man had reached the age of legal responsibility (bulūgh) or not – then, even if semen is not ejaculated, both the man and the woman become junub

Hope this was helpful.
