Ask an Alim

Rewards in the Paradise.

Q:

There is a hadith indicating that the last man who goes to paradise gets ten times the things of this world. Is this the reward that every Muslim will receive? or Just the last man going to Paradise?

A:

Salamun Alaykum

Thank you for your query.

The degree of gaining the blessings is based on actions, not on the basis of priority and delay in going to Jannah. Of course, the priority and delay itself is due to the levels of faith.

I haven’t gone through any hadith like that in the Shiite sources.

There is a limit in heaven, which may be less for someone and more for someone based on their actions.

And according to the verses of the Quran, a believer will receive whatever he wants in heaven

May Allah(swt) grant you success

Wassalam,

Syed Haider
