Advice on remarrying

Q:

Aslamulaikam,

I am divorced and have an eight years old son with my ex wife. I have a great relationship with my son Alhumdulillah. I’m in a great predicament at the moment. My ex wife has started working recently. I am working too. There are at least four days in the week when I watch my son after he finishes school till his mother comes back from work.
She has given me her flat keys so I take my son there after school. Feed him and the rest of it. And put him to bed around 7pm. My ex wife comes home from work around 9pm. That’s when I leave (after a brief discussion like how he’s been and if he ate properly).
I cant take my son to my house after school as it’s over an hour long travelling and he won’t be able to sleep on time for next day.
We both aren’t remarried yet. I wanted to seek some advice on this matter please. What should I do under these circumstances.

Jazak Allah Khair

-According to shia mazhab, divorce occurs after the prescribed formula (sigha) is recited and if the conditions mentioned are observed.

-In this situation whilst the wife is observing her iddah, the husband can return to her.
And if the waiting period (iddah) has come to an end, for reconciliation nikah had to be recited. But this is only possible after the first and second talaq.
