Vasectomy

Q:

What is your opinion regarding the obstruction of the testicle cords [vasectomy] as a contraceptive ?

A:

Vasectomy is permissible, but if this operation depends to authorize the doctor to look and touch what is forbidden (the penis) then it is not authorized except in case of necessity as if there is no other contraceptive solution and the pregnancy pulls an unbearable grave difficulty usually.

Definition of vasectomy: Vasectomy is a male sterilization method. It is a minor operation which consists in cutting and blocking the testicle cords which transport sperm cells from testicles [1]
