Salamun Alaykum

Thank you for your query.

[Acceptance of] repentance by Allah is only for those who commit evil out of ignorance and then repent promptly. It is such whose repentance Allah will accept, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise. (Nisa/17)

According to Ayatullah al-Udhma Sayyid Ali Sistany:

Question: If a married woman commits adultery with a man, what would be the ruling about them.

Answer: The married woman becomes permanently forbidden for him (obligatory precaution).

Question: If an unmarried lady and a man have had pre-marital sex, are they allowed to enter marriage contract (Nikah) with each other?

Answer: Yes, they are allowed, after their repentance.
