Getting commission

Q:

I am working as a Business Agent in UAE. As per Law of UAE, Any nonnational investor has must do a business agreement with any UAE nationality holder to set up any personal business in UAE. And for this business agreement UAE nationality holder charge some amount to nonnational investor and that amount is known as the sponsorship fee. As a business consultant, I settle the business agreement between the Foreign investor and UAE national. And against this service, UAE nationality holder gives me the commission from his sponsor fee. So, please advise me is my commission halal or haram according to the ruling of Islam. I am waiting for your kind reply. Thank you.

A:

For this reply I have consulted Syed Fadil Milani.

There is no problem in taking the commission in the manner that you have described.
