Ask an Alim

I want to die but Allah hates those who suicide and I am unable to bear my sin burden.

Q:

I am 21 year old. I was once in contact with many boys. Contact in the sense chatting on WhatsApp. But at heart I didn’t want to chat. They were my schoolmates and classmates, so I was not able to refuse. But then one day I fell in love with a boy. I spoke to mom also. She said we should pursue our studies and later she will get us married. But we crossed limits. And I am deeply depressed about my sins now. I am not able to tolerate the sin burden now. He is about to leave me. I became close to him with the intention that he will be My Husband. But things have changed for him. I want to die but Allah hates those who suicide and I am unable to bear my sin burden.

Please seek immediate help.

Having suicidal thoughts is not healthy. You must get some immediate help from professional coaches.

On a side note, Every person is sinful and all of us are carrying some burden or the other. But that didn’t mean we give up. We must go back to the Almighty who loves us soo much and is always ready to embrace us with love.

I will insist you get immediate help.
