A:

Wa alaykum Salam

Thank you for your question

The marriage of a virgin girl, dependent on her family, is not valid without the permission of the wali .
Sayyid Sistani says:
Question: If a woman is over thirty years of age, and still virgin, is it necessary for her to seek the permission of her guardian for marriage?

Answer: If she is not independent, it is obligatory on her to seek his consent. Rather, even if she is independent, she must seek his consent, as a matter of compulsory precaution

In your case, if you succeed in attaining your wali’s permission after your marriage, then your marriage is valid otherwise it’s void.

Yes, if your wali does not interfere with your affairs and you are an independent woman, then according to obligatory precaution your marriage is valid.

Regarding khula, neither khula nor divorce (talaq) is not valid if it’s done by force and without inner consent. Apart from that, divorce has conditions like:

1- You have to have two believing adults as your witness
2- The woman has to be clean of her menstrual period and also shouldn’t be pregnant
3- Proper Arabic words need to be uttered for the act to take place.
