Dear brothers, Iam looking for an hadith from the kitab Jafariyat kitab 64 / 246. i dont know how manny kitabs excactly  , but i saw the number 246 and 64

The hadith is as follow: from Jafar bin Muhammad a.s from his fathers from imam Ali a.s : When ever the prophet saaw went to sudjud he would place his knees first on the ground and then his hands. Please can you send me the complete hadith in Arabic. Shukran

A:

Wa Alaykumussalam

Thank you for your query.

In the Shia sources, it has come the other way as mentioned, placing hands before the knees.

The other way is also correct as stated in the hadith below:

The hadith from the Sunni source states:

So both ways are allowed to do but I couldn’t find a Hadith which particularly says Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w.w) used to do that particular way.

May Allah(swt) grant you success

Wassalam,

Syed Haider
