Ask an Alim

I wonder will we still be divided in Paradise because there are different levels just like how our societies today work

Q:

So one of my questions that I was very confused about Paradise, when people say the highest level of paradise is Al-furdose which is the 7th level of paradise. In paradise, you can wish for anything and receive it at the highest level meaning highest quality and majesticness, since they say that there are different levels of paradise, does that mean a person in 7th paradise that has a kingdom to himself or herself, is a person in the 1st level of paradise able to wish for a kingdom is well as the same kingdom the person in the 7th paradise? because to me when I heard the different levels, it made me wonder will we still be divided in Paradise because there are different levels just like how our societies today work (Divided as your social class as if your rich, poor, or average)

Wa alaykum salam

These are few points which might help you to get your answer:

If Allah has created human beings in different colors, races, classes it doesn’t mean that they cannot be United.
According to the Quran, the life which is most liked by Allah is when all human beings live like brothers without any grudges and hatred in their hearts for each other.
This is the quality of those who will go to heaven.( Refer to verse no 43 of sura A’araf.)
Therefore the life paradise is not similar to this world’s life
The essence and reality of a human being is his soul which is equal in all
It is through this divine soul,a human being can attain highest level of success and felicity.
This apparent division is a constructive division which is meant to help man live a better life and get nearer to his goal.
The life in the hereafter is a continuation of this world’s light, therefore a person will reap what he sows.
The levels in the hereafter are attained according to our good deeds and efforts.
And this is equal to Allahs justice.
Each and every level has its own quality , therefore whether the wishes are granted or not will depend on the level on which the person is.
