Islamic Law versus Country Law

If the Islamic Law says something else and Country Law differs from this which one to follow?
If Islamic Law says Custody is Fathers Sole Right but Country Law says Custody is Mothers Sole Right.

Based on this, it is necessary for both parents to agree on exercising their common right in custody by alternating [the right] or by any other method on which both agree.

Anyways in the cases of contradiction, you need to consult your marja for that particular case.
