Can I Memorize quran in English

Asalmualkum,

I am starting to memorize quran and I am wondering if I should memorize the English aswell as I am willing to go to madina uni in the next 6-8 years and i need to memorize the whole quran before going.

Thanks for your question.

Obviously it’s better to memorize Quran with translations and it’s meaning; at least it has personal benefits for yourself, like enhancing your spirituality; here are some sources for Quran translations:
1. Abdullah Yusuf Ali translation
2. Ali Quli Qara’i translation
