Ask an Alim

Bride dint say the word ‘Qabool’ during nikha.

Q:

As salam o alikum!
My wife’s sister got married last month. While nikah ceremony Imam sahab went to bride and told her that you will be getting married to a guy name usama, please sign here. And bride sign at the nikah nama but she didn’t say Word QABOOL not for the single time.
Please confirm that the nikah is done or not. Or we have to do nikah again.

5. the man and the woman must consent to the marriage. However, if they appear to disapprove but it is known that in their hearts they consent, the marriage contract is valid.
