azan at homes during natural calamity

Q:

Is there any reference about saying azaan at homes during a calamity or natural disaster to have the disaster pass ?

A:

Walaykum Assalaam

Yes there are. A narration you can find here: Wasail Al Shia – and the narration

This book is Wasail Al Shia – and the narration says the following:

The narration suggests that Imam Redha peace be upon him was asked what to do in regards to having illness and no children, and the advice was to recite adhan loudly in his house. He did, and the illness was lifted by Allah SWT and many children were born to him.

The next naration in the same chapter says the following:
This explains that reciting adhan loudly in your house evictssatan from it.

Inshallah this helps.
