A:

Wa Alaikum al-salam

Thanks for your question

There are some point that we have to pay attention to:

  • Ziarat warith is actually a part of Imam Sadiq (as) instruction about ziarat Imam Hussain (as)
  • This ziarat first was narrated and published in two sources:
    • Kitāb al-mazār , Manāsik al-mazār (Arabic: كِتاب المَزار؛ مَناسِك المَزار) known as al-Mazār al-ṣaghīr (Arabic: المَزار الصَغير) was written by al-Shaykh al-Mufid (d. 413/1022). In this book, al-Shaykh al-Mufid collected hadiths about visiting the graves of the Prophet (s) and Imams (a). It is among the most authentic sources of books about ziyara and supplication upon which Shia scholars have relied.
    • Miṣbāḥ al-mutahajjid wa silāḥ al-mutaʿabbid (Arabic: مِصباحُ المُتَهجِّد و سلاحُ المُتَعَبّد) or al-Miṣbāḥ al-Kabīr (Arabic: المِصباحُ الکَبیر) is a book written by al-Shaykh al-Tusi (d. 460/1066) in Arabic on du’a, supplication, ziyarat, practices and recommended manners of different days and months. Since its publication, it has always been a reference of Shia and Shia scholars. In this book, some rulings in jurisprudence also mentioned along with some du’as and supplications.
  • Shaykh al-Tusi narrated this Ziarah from Abu-Abdullah, Mohammad ibn Ahmad Ibn Abdullah Ibn Qudha’ah Ibn Safwan Ibn Mihran Al-Jammal from his father. So there is no unknown figure in the chain of this Hadith, And the narrators of the chain are mostly Thiqa(trustworthy) like Mohammad ibn Ahmad and Safwan.

So there is no doubt in the chain of the narration of this ziarah; also the content of ziarah doesn’t seem to be vague or problematic.
